From a one-hour cruise to a 3-hour dinner, here is what each Prague river cruise costs, how long it lasts and what the price covers, with the extras you pay on board.

A river cruise in Prague can cost less than a museum ticket or as much as a restaurant dinner. The difference is mostly what comes with the boat: commentary only, a drink, a buffet, a live band. Length matters less than you would think.

Below is every cruise we list with its price, length and inclusions in one table, then the questions people ask most: what is expensive, how long the tours are, and why the Jazz Boat shows one price on its own site and another on GetYourGuide.

The quick answer

Prague river cruises on GetYourGuide start from $14 for a one-hour cruise with recorded jazz and run to $88 for a 3-hour glass boat dinner. Sightseeing cruises last 45 minutes to 1 hour; dinner cruises 3 hours. The Jazz Boat, with a live band, costs from $46 on GetYourGuide or €49 direct; dinner (€31 direct) and drinks are extra.

How much is a river cruise in Prague?

From $14 to $88 per person on GetYourGuide in 2026. A sightseeing hour costs $14 to $25; a dinner cruise $77 to $88.

All prices below are GetYourGuide from-prices in USD for one adult. They move with the date, the option and your currency, and every product here has free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Reduta is a jazz club on land, included because many visitors weigh it against the Jazz Boat.

Is a river cruise in Prague expensive?

Not for what you get. The cheapest hour on the river is $14; the price only climbs when a meal or a band is on board.

Think of the prices in three bands. Sightseeing cruises, with commentary and maybe a drink, sit at $14 to $25. Evenings with entertainment, the boat party and the Jazz Boat, cost $39 to $46. Meal cruises run from $55 for lunch to $88 for the glass boat dinner, and the buffet is the bulk of that.

Per hour on the water the spread is narrower than it looks:

  • Jazz-style cruise: about $14 an hour.
  • The Jazz Boat, concert only: about $18 an hour.
  • Boat party: about $20 an hour, club entry included.
  • Dinner cruise: about $26 an hour, buffet included.

How long is the Prague boat tour?

Most sightseeing cruises take 45 minutes to 1 hour. The Jazz Boat sails for 2 hours 30 minutes, lunch cruises for 2 hours and dinner cruises for 3 hours.

Pick by how much of your evening you want to give the river. A 50-minute cruise fits between dinner and bed; the dinner and jazz cruises are the evening. Day trips out of the city also exist: the Prague Steamboat Company sails to Slapy, 9 hours 30 minutes there and back, at CZK 650 for an adult in 2026. Its season ended on 1 November, and it publishes next season's dates in February.

Why are direct and GetYourGuide prices different?

They are sold in different currencies, as different packages, by different sellers. Neither is a mistake: compare the same option on the same date.

The Jazz Boat prices each concert in euros on its own site. GetYourGuide shows a from-price in your currency, which shifts with the exchange rate, the date and the option you pick. Its options also bundle things differently (the menu is built into "Popular"), and it lets you reserve now and pay later. Both refund in full if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead.

Other operators sell direct too, often with an online discount. On their own sites in 2026, Prague Boats lists its 3-hour dinner cruise from €62.10 online (€69 regular), its glass-sided Crystal Dinner from €71.10 (€79 regular) and its 50-minute cruises at €16.20 (€18 regular). The products are not always identical to a GetYourGuide listing, so check what each option includes.

Buffet cruises include the food; drinks after the welcome drink are extra

What is included in a Prague dinner cruise?

A buffet, a welcome drink and live background music on all three Prague Boats meal cruises. Further drinks are extra. On the Jazz Boat dinner is a set menu, and it is optional.

The 3-hour dinner cruise serves an all-you-can-eat buffet of hot and cold Czech and international dishes, with vegetarian options and desserts, and you can go back as often as you like. The glass boat dinner adds an insulated deck with retractable glass walls and a guaranteed window seat if you pick that option. The lunch cruise has a buffet lunch and a Czech aperitif, with an accordionist or a guitarist playing.

Reviewers mention a pianist, a guitarist, or a band and singer. It is music to eat to, not a concert. For jazz with dinner, the Jazz Boat is the one with a live band.

★★★★★

The greeting was warm and welcoming with a glass of Prosecco. We booked a window table and well worth the extra money. [...] We enjoyed the live band and singer very much.

What extras should you budget for on a Prague cruise?

Mainly drinks. Only the welcome drink, aperitif or Prague Venice drink comes in the price; everything else you order on board.

On the Jazz Boat a small Budvar is CZK 70 and a mixed drink CZK 180, with snacks from €1.30. On the jazz-style cruise, food and drinks are all extra, and reviewers call the bar prices reasonable. One lunch cruise reviewer suggests a small tip for the accordion player on the way out.

What is the cheapest boat tour in Prague?

The one-hour jazz-style cruise, from $14. The 50-minute evening cruise is $20, and Prague Venice at $25 includes a drink and a museum ticket.

All three are good value, for different reasons. The jazz-style cruise is the cheapest hour on the river, with recorded jazz and commentary, and tables on an indoor deck or an open upper deck. The evening cruise shows the lit city and is the most reviewed of all the cruises here. Prague Venice is the only one that goes into the Čertovka canal under Charles Bridge.

In the warm season the Prague Steamboat Company runs a 55-minute cruise from Rašínovo nábřeží at CZK 360 for an adult. Which cruise fits which visitor is in our best boat tour guide.

★★★★★

Definitely worth it. Not crowded when I went in mid-October. Large, comfortable tables and seating. Easy listening, classic jazz music played not too loud [...] Scenery is beautiful and food and beverage prices reasonable.
